*What you'll do:*
* Be alert and active in supporting facility’s commitment to safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights.
* Assist cook in preparing meals and meal trays.
* Assist in serving meals and cleaning dining area.
* Take an active part in making sure all dietary personnel follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations.
* Wash and put away kitchen pots, mixing equipment, flatware, etc.
; keep storage for these items clean, sanitary, and orderly.
* Clean food preparation worktables and other kitchen work surfaces; clean kitchen walls, refrigerators, and refrigerated walk-ins.
* Sweep and mop floors in kitchen area.
* Remove garbage and cardboard from kitchen area and dispose of properly.
*Who you are:*
* Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
* One-year previous experience in a SNF facility, preferred.
* WA State Food Handler's License
