American made all original finish 1960s era cast iron undermount woodworking vise by Columbian for Sears under the Craftsman brand.
Has 4x10-inch wide jaws that open a good 11 inches.
The very best of the old Made in the USA woodworker's vises.
Working perfectly and cosmetically looks just fantastic.
You know someone has taken care of a tool when they still have the original flyer for it 65 years later! Rapid-release underneath (shown open and closed in pictures).
Dog in front.
Signed with the Columbian maker’s mark on the plate with the 10R-2A part number.
Model 506-51890.
Original wooden handle.
Wood pads are 11 inches wide.
Bolts to attach to bench included.
It’s not practical to buy these online because of the high shipping cost of a 37-pound vise and these don’t come up here locally often.
A new Wilton this size is $335 at Home Depot.
Please call or text if you want it.
I can meet you at the Hood Canal Bridge.
