Our team describes us as a “unicorn clinic” * Five awesome veterinarians who practice high-quality canine and feline general practice medicine and collaborate on cases, sharing ideas, and supporting each other through clinical decisions.
* Our medical director has 18 years of general practice and emergency medicine experience, with a love of mentoring and special interests in soft tissue surgery and dentistry/oral surgery * Two DVM Moms- We help minimize the challenges of balancing work and children.
* Team of 23 dedicated support staff, including four licensed veterinary technicians * Heavily focused on fear-free techniques with pre-visit pharmaceuticals and ALL the cheese whiz! * Well equipped with in-house IDEXX lab equipment, digital standard/dental radiography, Doppler BP, Tonometer, Cardell multi-parameter monitors, Esaote diagnostic ultrasound, and Bovie cautery unit * Exceptional reputation with new clients requesting to join our practice daily * Nearby 24-hour emergency facilities and specialty centers- we do not provide on-call or after-hours care and can easily refer when needed *WHO WE WANT:* * Friendly, outgoing veterinary receptionist who is looking to provide excellent client and patient care to our growing client base * Someone to laugh with and enjoy inside jokes and adventures- Our team has done escape rooms, behind-the-scenes zoo tours, bioluminescent kayak tours, whale watching, visits to local wineries and breweries, and more! * A love of educating clients and partnering with them to schedule visits, process invoices, enroll in wellness plans, etc.

*WHAT WE OFFER:* * Full-time employment; currently open 8am-6pm Mon-Sat * Four 10-hour/day work week, but open to considering other options per your needs.

* Matching 401K plan, PTO, LVT licensure reimbursement, CE benefits, exceptional pet care discounts, uniform, Medclerk licensure, and more! *POSITION DETAILS:* * Client care for owners of feline and canine patients in a multiple DVM practice * Answer incoming calls (for multiple lines) and assess needs while balancing etiquette with efficiency.
* Maintain medical records in AVImark PIMS.
* Assist veterinarians in client follow-up via phone calls, emailing and texting regarding lab work, patient care and updates * Schedule and manage appointments for veterinarians, technicians, and surgical procedures.
* Manage payments including balancing and reconciliation.
* Daily opening and closing procedures * Take on and perform special projects and one or more specific areas of responsibility * Basic housekeeping of waiting room and client reception area including removal of animal waste, vacuuming, mopping, and restocking of food and retail items.
*SALARY:* * The base hourly range for this position is $18 - $21.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
* This position is also eligible for periodic bonuses.
