*Position Overview:* We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join Chemotherapy Clinic in Silverdale, WA.
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to the highest standards of care and ethics.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a designated patient group, utilizing the nursing process and diagnosis.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive care plan in collaboration with the healthcare team.
* Prioritize patient care based on essential needs and available resources.
* Safely and competently provide nursing interventions, ensuring patients and families are informed and supported.
* Evaluate patient responses to care, anticipating and recognizing changes in their status.
* Demonstrate understanding of the physiologic and psychological effects of normal aging in diverse patient populations.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and plan for designated patients requiring hospitalization.
* Recognize and address psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs in each nurse-patient interaction.
* Provide patient education and counseling aligned with individualized care plans.
* Assess lifestyle risk factors, integrate health promotion, and implement preventive measures.
* Adhere to documentation, safety, and infection control standards.
*Qualifications:*
* Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
* Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire.
* Basic Life Support required at hire.
*Non-negotiable Requirements:*
* Prior Chemotherapy work experience.
* Strong preference for a current ONS Chemo/Bio certification.
* Interest in a Silverdale WA work location, with flexibility for other locations.
* Willingness to care for IV/Infusion Therapy patients not requiring Chemo.
*Nice-to-Have Skills:*
* Exceptional soft skills, including empathy and compassion for Oncology patients.
* Experience with a variety of chemotherapy medications and ability to handle allergic or adverse reactions.
* Nice to truly have - A current OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse (ONCC).
