JOB SUMMARY:
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the facility.
Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing.
Sees patients under a variety of circumstances.
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
Handles emergency or crisis situations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Experience
Minimum two years’ experience preferred with Emergency and/or CCU experience
Licensure/Credentials
Current Washington State RN license
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required within 30 days of hire
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 6 months of hire.
Preference for both PALS and ENPC within 6 months of hire, but required to have at least one within 6 months of hire, and both within 1 year of hire
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within six months of hire
