Qualifications Required | Must be 18 years of age or older Required | Friday - Sunday availability Required | Valid WA Food Worker Card (within 14 days after hire) Required | Valid WA Class 12/13 Alcohol Server Permit (within 60 days after hire) Desirable | Flexible availability Desirable | Previous hotel or event experience Your day-to-day As a Banquet House Attendant, you will be the backbone of events and help bring memorable moments to life.
You'll play a critical role in setting the stage for unforgettable gatherings; from mastering Banquet Event Orders to ensuring each event space is pristine and welcoming.
As a key player on our Banquets team, you will: Set-up tables, chairs, linens, podiums, dance floor, etc.
according to Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) and supervisor direction.
Break down and properly store all equipment.
Wash dishes, empty garbage, and keep Banquet Kitchen clean/tidy.
Wipe down walls, counters, tables, dusting, vacuum, clean carpets and floors.
Set up beverage and meal stations per BEO’s and/or as directed by a captain/supervisor.
Refresh meeting rooms as directed by a captain/supervisor.
Stock boardrooms with pens, notepads and other non-food related supplies.
Gather china, glass and flatware for meal functions.
Handle last minute requests by guests.
Occasionally assist with meal services as directed by captain/supervisor.
Be on the floor and ready to go in proper uniform.
Properly use headsets/ear-pieces and radios.
Clearly communicate with staff and help where needed to increase efficiency.
Interact and communicate with all hotel guests and employees effectively in a polite and positive manner.
