Position Highlights: Emphasis on work-life balance | supportive working environment Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Generous PTO and paid federal holidays Stable patient population Employee status and generous benefits package Requirements: Current primary certification and registration as a Sonographer from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S-ARRT) (OR) Current post-primary certification and registration as a Sonographer as determined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S-ARRT) (OR) Current certification and registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer as determined by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS-ARDMS).
BLS Certification Job Duties: Perform ultrasound examinations for healthcare providers to enable accurate diagnosis and to guide treatment of a wide variety of diseases, medical conditions, and injuries.
Perform routine and emergent diagnostic sonography including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, small parts, venous, neural, and miscellaneous studies.
Correlate the patient’s clinical history with the requested examination to be performed and consult the electronic medical record to obtain the results from previous pertinent diagnostic tests to correlate with the ultrasound examination.
Schedule lengths of patient appointment times according to the complexity of the examination.
Maintain daily patient registry of examinations.
