JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a full range of record keeping and payroll processing activities including calculation of wages and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, processing requests for special payments and processing final payment for employee terminations.
Although duties normally follow established procedures, responsibilities may include routine, minor corrections to make documents acceptable for processing.
Works under general direction or and in constant communication with the Payroll Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High school diploma and college level accounting experience preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years payroll accounting experience preferred.
Demonstrable computer skills including use of spreadsheets, word processing and data bases.
Licensure/Credentials
None.
