JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional speech/language pathology therapy services to Olympic Medical Center’s customers.
Conduct is consistent with Washington State professional practice act as well as OMC’s policies and procedures.
Organizes and conducts medically prescribed programs to restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach their maximum performance.
Interprets the patient data in order to develop a treatment plan and provide the care needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Graduate of an approved program of Speech, Hearing Science and Language Development and Disorders.
Minimum of a Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
One year clinical experience in an acute care setting desired.
Licensure/Credentials
Licensed in Washington as a Speech/Language Pathologist at the clinical level.
Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
BLS certification.

Paid Sick Leave – PSL is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked and is available to use after 90 days of employment.

Vacation – Beginning accrual equivalent to 14 days per year for a full-time employee.
Pro-rated for part-time employees.
Employees may begin using vacation after completing 1040 benefit hours.
