00 USD JOB SUMMARY: The provider in this position provides medical care to patients in a hospital based outpatient clinic.
Must demonstrate a high level of expertise in diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric patients.
Often meets with family members to discuss care plans and other medical treatment issues.
Characterized by an increased complexity of clinical decision-making ability.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education Graduate of an accredited medical school.
Board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.
Experience Prior experience in clinical area (2+ years) preferred.
Licensure/Credentials Board certified or active participant in the examination process leading to certification in Family Practice and area of sub-specialty (if any).
Recertifies at appropriate intervals per specialty board requirements.
Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington.
Maintains current DEA registration.
Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
