Olympic College (OC) is recruiting a full-time tenure-track faculty to teach courses in Leadership and Business Management.
OC is in search of faculty members who are deeply committed to student-centered education and the promotion of an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
As a comprehensive community college, we offer a wide range of programs, including Transitional Studies (e.
g.
, high school diploma and GED preparation, as well as English for English Language Learners), academic transfer and workforce education degrees, and certificates, five applied baccalaureate degrees, and community education services across our two-county region.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven history of employing culturally responsive teaching methods, using data analysis to inform their instructional approach, and providing guidance and mentorship to underrepresented student populations.

This role primarily involves the preparation and delivery of courses in Leadership and Business Management.
Essential Functions Minimum Qualification Master’s degree in leadership, management, business, or related field.
Three years of successful college teaching, particularly community college teaching or related training experience.
Information technology competency and ability to embrace and learn new instructional technologies.
Desired Qualifications Doctorate in leadership, management, business, or related field.
Successful executive leadership experience.
Competency-based curriculum development experience.
Successful Candidates Will Strong mastery of program course content.
Ability to design and implement college-level program curriculum, aligning with state and APA standards and college program requirements.
Proficiency in employing diverse teaching methods to engage a wide range of students.
Skill in accommodating accessibility needs through course materials and activities.
Collaborative mindset and teamwork capabilities.
Competence in integrating technology, including Learning Management Systems, (ie.
Canvas), for various instructional modes and course delivery (online, zoom, hybrid & hyflex).
Diligence in maintaining records and discipline standards.
Commitment to Olympic College's mission, diversity, and a learner-focused environment.
Regular teaching of program courses.
Adaptability in instruction to ensure student success.
Dedication to teaching a diverse student body with varying backgrounds.

Qualifications Terms of Employment We are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States will be considered.
Faculty members must submit official, unopened transcripts to the Human Resources department within 30 days of their employment.
This is a full-time faculty position contracted on an annual basis.
Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience.
The salary will be prorated to reflect the actual contract days remaining in the academic year.
The salary listed is a range based on per month for the quarter.
A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE).
Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department.
Evening and/or weekend classes, instruction at satellite Olympic College campuses, and off-campus assignments may be a part of the instructional load.
