Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to join our team.
As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a construction crew.
This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a crew of construction workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications
- Plan and organize daily work schedules, assigning tasks to crew members and ensuring timely completion
- Monitor work progress, quality, and safety standards to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with owner to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Provide guidance and training to crew members on construction techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify potential issues or hazards and take appropriate corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of crew activities, including daily reports, time sheets, and material usage
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors as needed to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crew Leader or similar role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera, Prolog, ProCore, or similar tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project goals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Solid understanding of budgeting and cost control principles
- Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and other construction documents
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
