Summary of Key Responsibilities
As the production bakery assistant manager, you can apply your past kitchen leadership and hands-on experience to set an inspirational tone for staff through role modeling.
Understand priorities, solve problems & drive results.
Support daily management of staff while balancing achieving top priorities.
Leverage planning expertise to ensure the successful execution of operations.
Support staff development through meaningful training sessions and coaching conversations informed by observed performance across each employee's responsibilities.

Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experienced leader with demonstrated portfolio experience (i.
e.
, restaurant leadership, wholesale or retail kitchen leadership, etc.
)
Ability to execute detailed workflows, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and goal calendaring.
Ability to lead and develop staff with a proven track record of coaching high-performing teams
Ability to be flexible, navigate ambiguity, and adapt knowledge and experience to the needs of the business and staff.
Deep understanding of and demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional menu service
Commitment to crafting beautiful and inspiring food
Forward-thinking with strong decision-making capability and strength in problem-solving using a combination of established methods and external processes
Ability to support daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities of kitchen operations, such as schedule adherence, inventory needs, product forecasting, and interdepartmental communications.
High-level communicator, both verbal and written
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of kitchen experience working with P&L, inventory, and operations.
1+ year of experience of being an on-shift lead for a team of 2 or more, including training and coaching responsibilities, with strong leadership and communication skills
Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations, and financial reporting
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Capably manage digital platforms: Google Suite, messaging apps
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time or the entire shift
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Operate and use all equipment necessary
Process information/merchandise through Google Suite
Handle food and hot beverages
Ability to freely access all areas of the 2-story building
