POSITION SUMMARY The Business Systems Management Analyst – Yardi is responsible for the administration and support of our Yardi platforms for HCV, Property Management, Accounting, and Compliance including evaluating, documenting, and maintaining the systems, keeping them in sync and up to date with the latest available plug-ins, controlling user access and permissions, and keeping the system compliant with both internal and external audits.
This role will work with the Housing and Finance Departments to implement, document, test, and support the Yardi application systems for the organization.
To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, detail-oriented and motivated with ambition and skills for detailed documentation.
In addition, you should have a technical and analytical background and way of thinking while also being able to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.

Essential Functions Summaries • Work with managers and staff to triage, analyze and troubleshoot issues related to the agency's use of various Yardi systems.
This work includes: • Root cause analysis, test case development, documentation via helpdesk, onsite, phone or remote support capability, strong resourcefulness and communication skills, reporting, SQL queries, mobile apps, user training, application security standards, system administration, software/UI design, coding, and workflow principals, accounting general & best practices, HUD programs & compliance.
• Know when to escalate and get other team members involved.
• Ensure proper tracking of requests captured via helpdesk ticket.
• Technical ability to contribute to and support coding, scripting, database design and software development projects across BHA's Business Systems (Yardi, OnBase, Calypso).
This includes: • Report writing such as Crystal Reports, Microsoft SSRS, Yardi YSR scripting, Yardi ADHOC reporting tool.
• Customization through VBA scripting, Visual Basic, C#, Python, Powershell etc.

• Yardi Voyager custom tables • Perform regular system administration tasks.
This includes.
• New user creation across Yardi products such as Yardione, Voyager, Client Central, Procure to Pay/Elevate, Rent Café and Aspire.
• New property setup and support of existing (compliance, accounting, and IT ends) • Configuration, support, and updates to Mobile applications such as Yardi Mobile Maintenance and Mobile Inspections.
• Working with Security groups, user permissions (~5000 permissions) and how permissions across multiple Yardi products relate to other Yardi products.
• Working with specialized Yardi admin tools such as Rebuilding totals, unposting bank recs, changing operating month, rebuilding transactions, Tracs tools, unlocking vouchers, Tax Credit corrective tools, yCheck check printing, Voyager accounts and options, affordable tools and PHA administration tools.
• Administering critical refence tables and schedules such as utility allowances, income limits, payment standards, and flat rents.
• Administer schedules tasks in Voyager which includes letters, emails, report packets.
• Stay up to date with the latest Yardi features, upgrades, and industry trends and assess their potential impact on the organization and keep the IT & Business Systems manager regularly informed.
• Research new products & tools to optimize productivity, streamline and automate.
• Test and lead testing efforts related to new functionality, new module, and upgrades to existing modules including creating test plans, test cases, and working to ensure process is followed by managers.
• Coordinate and provide training on a continual process for systems workflow on leasing, marketing, work orders, resident, and prospect communications (with emphasis on Yardi Voyager, Procure to Pay, and RentCafé).
This includes strong documentation on processes.
• Train and coach new existing employees on workflows/procedures related to Yardi property management software systems including resolving problems via in person, telephone, and webinar sessions.
• Provide backup support to other BHA business applications such as Calypso, OnBase and web site support through WordPress.
This includes support for covering others on PTO, outage etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Required Education and Experience Education: Bachelor's Degree required, Field of Study: Preferably in Information Technology or related field.
Experience: • Two or more years' experience working as a Yardi Administrator working within the multifamily industry including experience with the training and supporting of Yardi and its related systems.
• Knowledge of property management processes as they relate to multifamily operations.
• Have a working understanding of database concepts and user security and general IT principles.
Bremerton Housing Authority has the discretion to accept any other equivalent combination of education and experience when relevant.
Computer Skills: Expert in MS Office Products Certifications & Licenses: Administrator Certification for Yardi from FitechGelb or similar certification preferred.
Other Requirements: • Must possess a valid Driver's License for use in Washington State with the continued ability to be covered under the Housing Authority's auto insurance policies.
