Afternoon Deli/food manager

Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the deli, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory control - Ensure that all food products are prepared and served according to company standards and health regulations - Train and supervise deli staff, providing guidance and support as needed - Manage schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service - Monitor and maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner - Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction - develop recipes, prepare specials and train employees on how to implement procedures.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting - Strong cash handling skills and knowledge of POS systems - Knowledge of kitchen management principles and food production processes - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively We offer competitive pay based on experience.
