Are you looking for a garden that’s more than just a cookie-cutter lawn? A landscape where you can be immersed in not only rich sounds, colors, and scents but a place that will provide for you, your community, and the wildlife around you?
Fall is the best time to start a garden!
I’m a landscape designer and permaculturist based in Sequim opening up my design services to the greater Olympic Peninsula.
I will help to create a custom landscape design that fills your harvest basket and leaves the earth better than it was before.
What is permaculture? Permaculture is a holistic approach to land design, based on ecological principles and patterns.
It aims to create stable, productive systems that provide for human needs, harmoniously integrating the land with people.
The natural processes of plants, animals, water, weather, and nutrient cycles are integrated with human needs and technologies for food, energy, shelter, and infrastructure.
Consultations: I come to you and we spend one to several hours discussing your goals and vision for the space, the existing site conditions and exploring design solutions that fit your needs.
I follow up via email or call with recommendations and relevant resources.
Some concepts I can help with include plant placement advice, ideas to organize your space for increased harvests, utilizing rain water, building soil, ways to incorporate permaculture principles into your landscape, recycling waste streams, installation and maintenance tips, prioritizing projects, and much more.
Serving in person consultations for Sequim, Port Angeles and Port Townsend.
For clients on the west end, Silverdale, Bremerton and greater Seattle areas - please reach out as I will travel for an additional per mile travel fee.
Design Services: Pricing for each service depends on the size of the project (50sqft - 20 acres).
Please reach out to me to receive a quote.
All design services include an initial consultation.
- Basic sketch: struggling with the layout of your landscape such as the placement of garden beds, compost bins, hedges, outdoor patio, play area, etc.
? A rough sketch organizes these essential elements while also providing a list of recommended trees & shrubs.
Does not include exact locations, an in-scale design, or a fully robust plant list.
- Concept Design: Includes a full analysis of the landscape, one design revision session, a digital design with exact placements of trees and shrubs, and a recommended plant list with common and Latin names, mature height and width of plants, sun and soil requirements, and brief notes about each plant.
- Master Plan: A fully developed extensive design packed with a wide array of native, edible, and medicinal plants.
Includes everything from the Concept Design plus an additional design revision, exact locations of all vegetation and elements, detailed design notes, a cost estimation breakdown, and a full implementation plan for your or a third-party contractor.
