PLEASE refer to the map on this posting.
We are NOT in the greater Seattle area.
We are just west of the Hood Canal Bridge.
Saansey is our cross of our 2 favorite goat breeds; Saanen and British Guernsey.
Both breeds are sadly underutilized by homesteaders for vastly different reasons, but I aim to increase their popularity by crossing them together to create what I believe is the perfect homesteading dairy goat.

Overview is that I have owned nearly every single breed of goat in the States.
Saanen and Guernsey were hands-down the most pleasant goats to own, and when I cross them together they consistently produce THE sweetest, calmest, easiest goats you'll ever meet.
Heather was born on 6/10/22 and kidded for the first time on 1/9/22.
She had twins unassisted, and is a good mom.
Once we pulled the babies off, this young girl knocked our socks off by hitting 8 pounds (a gallon) a day! She has settled in at a steady 7 pounds a day and doesn't show any signs of decreasing.
Heather is a sweet, quiet, gentle girl.
She comes to her name when it's time to be milked, and stands like a rock.
Her udder texture is incredibly soft and supple, and with her large orifices she is incredibly easy to milk.
The only reason we're letting her go, is because her sister is producing the same amount and has slightly better teat placement.
Saanseys are incredibly gentle goats, and Heather is gentle even for them.
So I won't allow her to go to a farm full of the horned goats or the common bully breeds like LaMancha or Alpine.
She simply won't defend herself.
.
.
She would fit in just fine with a herd of Nigerians or minis because she isn't going to bully them.
Come meet her and the rest of my herd! No pressure to buy.
I'm just quite sure that once you walk into my barn, you will want a Saansey.
**If you've never had goats before, I can absolutely walk you through getting started.
I am a permanent resource to anybody who gets a goat from me.
I also make goat emergency kits for beginners, and offer driveway stud service of my Saansey bucks.
