I am looking for a fantastic, loving, loyal person(s) / Family to re-home our beloved pets to.
This is by no means an easy decision, in-fact, one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made.
I love these dogs and would do anything to keep them, however, due to major life changes I can no longer give them the life they deserve.
I have come to the conclusion that keeping them is somewhat selfish.
I really enjoy their company, however, they really need more from life and my available time/space and uncertain future plans means it’s just not fair on them.
I will be incredibly sad to see them go but knowing they are going to a good, safe home where they could get everything they need would be a blessing for them and myself.
Please only contact me if you are serious about taking these pets for the long haul.
I’m sure it will be very emotional for them, as well as for me and the last thing I want is for them to go through any further trauma if they are re-homed or even separated further down the line.
Stormy is a 5 year old Golden Retriever/Boarder Collie mix.
She’s very sweet and loving, has a spunky personality but is a little anxious of new things, she just needs love, attention and lives to sit outside in the sun.
She is happy to laze around and take the occasional walk.
She’s a little shy and can get anxious of new surroundings and people but neither are aggressive.
Yoda is a 3 year old Husky/Kelpie mix who just loves to run, play and cuddle.
They are best buddies although very different.
They compliment each other and are always together.
They need to be re-homed together and stay together.
He is very energetic and would love to be out and about, meeting people, hiking etc.
He needs someone who has the energy to match his own.
Yoda is an escape artist, he loves to find a hole in a fence or a gap under a gate to go and visit a neighbors dog or just go roaming, so, it’s really important that he has a secure place to run and play.
They are both fixed and up to date with all their shots until Dec 2024.
Neither have had any health issues, although Stormy was hit by a car when she was a puppy and broke her femur.
She had surgery to repair that and it was very successful and has not suffered any issues at all from that whatsoever.
They have been raised around cats, dogs, kids and pigs and get along with all, including chickens and ducks etc.
Yoda does get excited when he sees a new cat but as soon as the initial excitement is over then he’s totally fine.
I know these amazing pets will bring the right person/people years of joy and happiness.
They are amazing dogs.
While I am wanting to get them re-homed fairly quickly I am also going to make sure it’s to the right people.
Ideally someone who has the time and ability to provide for them long term.
I am not going to rush to re-home them for my convenience and I’m prepared to find the best possible situation for them.
This will give me massive amounts of reassurance and make this emotionally difficult situation much easier on myself and in turn Stormy and Yoda too.
If you are interested please message me with some details about yourself, your situation, location and why these fury friends would be a good fit for you and your life/family.
There is a $400 re-homing fee.
I am firm on this fee not because I need the money but because I truly believe that if you are willing to invest in something then you are more likely to take care of them.
I’d hate nothing more than for them to re-homed and end up in a worse situation.
Thank you and I look I forward to hearing from you!
