Time to plant!!! This is great for growing 'fodder' for rabbits, chickens and other critters or just to be fed as seed.
Remember, barley is a NON-GMO grain.
My hens have shown a preference to this both in fodder & seed form over non-organic layer feed that IS GMO.
Grown as fodder, 50 lbs can typically turned into 250-350 lbs of fodder with a protein of 15-20% range and is a LIVE food which is far more nutritional.
50 lbs can be purchased in a recycled commercial feed bag or purchase 4 recycled food grade containers from me for $5 each.
It can also be purchased in 12 1/2 lb size for $10.
Bring your own container or purchase a food grade container from me for $5.
This grain was harvested last year.
