Functions as Mobile Health Clinic (MHC) driver for all MHC events
Provides administrative support for the MHC
When the MHC is not in use, other duties as assigned.
Safety and Security duties as needed
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Complete a daily checklist of basic functions of the MHC and maintain radio contact with security on NOHN (North Olympic Healthcare Network) sites.
Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
Assist staff and patients as needed.
Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions
Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
Ensure the seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
Schedules regular MHC maintenance appointments and report any issues to Supervisor
Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the mobile unit.
Assist staff with unruly patients and/or visitors
Engages proper authorities as needed
Assist in providing a safe working environment for staff, patients, and visitors
Responsible for stocking supplies (office/medical/cleaning) by monitoring Kanban cards, checking for expired products and restocking every Friday, or as needed.
Communicate with Port Angeles School District (PASD) and Bus Barn staff to coordinate storage and retrieval of MHC including access outside of bus barn hours or non-school days/times.

Previous experience as a Driver
A valid driver’s license
A clean driving records
Drivers abstract required
Familiarity with GPS devices
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Ability to lift heavy 50 or more Pounds
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.
g.
, at rush hour)
Walking, standing, and sitting 8-9 hours per day
Ability to drive between sites daily
