Position Overview
Responsible for the operation of paratransit vehicles to various destinations within the service area in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
Paratransit operators provide critical services to the community, supporting the mission to enhance quality of life, bolster mobility, and create opportunities through transit.
Compensation
Paratransit operators will begin at $21.
66 per hour and move to $23.
02 per hour after successfully completing the 180-day probationary period.
Operators will receive pay increases on their anniversaries up to $29.
29 per hour.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate (GED)
A valid WA driver's license or ability to obtain
Five consecutive years of licensed driving experience

Working Conditions
This is a safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with CTS policy and federal regulations.
Represented by the Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 587.
