Stirrett Johnsen is seeking a Warehouse Associate/ CDL Truck Driver to join our team.
This position’s responsibilities include receiving material orders from vendors, picking and packaging orders to support our field team, load/transport finished goods from fabrication facility in Silverdale to construction sites located primarily throughout western Washington and supporting our fabrication shop manager.
*Primary responsibilities* * Drive Vehicle with a gross vehicle weight over 26,000 lbs * Ensure contents on trucks are properly secured to prevent breakage or damage * Ensure vehicles are kept clean * Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections * Loading and unloading of trucks * Assisting in picking orders at warehouse * Maintaining inventory organization * Communicating with field team to help organize deliveries * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Working with Fabrication manager to maintain fabrication material needs *Qualifications* * Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License required * Current DOT medical card * Ability to submit to background/drug checks for clearance on government facilities * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations and a clean Driver’s Abstract * Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (such as traffic and weather conditions) * Prior experience working in a warehouse environment a plus * Forklift experience a plus * Strong communication skills, verbal and written * Good attention to detail * Able to work on feet for 8 hours and carry up to 60 lbs *About Stirrett Johnsen:* Stirrett Johnsen is a locally owned mechanical contractor.
