Peninsula Services is looking for a Truck Driver / Customer Service Representative with our All Shred division GENERAL SUMMARY: Work with our All Shred team while driving one of our shredding trucks to make on-site recycling pick-ups, manage customer accounts and ensure that customers are satisfied with company’s services.
Develop relationships and generate sales opportunities to small business and residential community.
In addition, perform any combination of the following tasks: pick up containers of non-shredded paper from customer locations; deliver paper to warehouse; bale shredded paper; maintain all records; operate material handling equipment; and perform all general custodial responsibilities to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
Where: Various routes in Kitsap and Pierce County When: 8:00am to 4:30pm Regular Full Time, Hourly, Non-exempt Wage: $19.
00- $22.
00 per hour plus H&W $2.
50 per hour Benefit Package: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer contribution, paid vacation, and sick leave, employee assistance program.

QUALIFICATIONS  Must possess WA Driver's License with clean driver record- no accident and traffic violation in the last 2 years.
 Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving trucks***no CDL required.
 Previous outside sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
 Forklift certification or ability to satisfactorily pass forklift driver training.
 Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations required.
 Must pass an extensive 7 years federal and state background checks, DOT pre-employment drug screen and provide confirmation that you are authorized to work in the US.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Drive an All Shred mobile shredding truck to provide on-site service and pick up of customer’s paper for recycling at our secure warehouse.
 Understand and carry out agency policies and mission and motivate coworkers to do so as well.
 Maintain appropriate and professional interactions with and customers and co-workers in accordance with agency policies, accepted norms, and best business practices.
 Develop new business by identifying prospective clients and following up with potential customers.
 Participates in marketing events such as “Shred Days,” business fairs, expositions, etc.
 Ensures customer’s needs are satisfied through communication/coordination with internal support functions.
 Maintains security and confidentiality of all records.
 Ability to work independently and problem solve situations.
 Prior to using equipment and/or vehicles perform operations, safety and maintenance checks.
 Clean containers to be placed at customer locations.
 Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles and material handling equipment.
 Perform all warehouse duties as assigned including, but not limited to, operating and monitoring baler/conveyor system, and shredding machine for proper, safe operation.
 Report all equipment and vehicle malfunctions to Assistant Operations Manager.
 Assist with minor repair work and warehouse responsibilities for the work area.
 Ensure compliance in accepting and palletizing E-Cycle Washington drop-off station with the State’s and “Preferred Processing Standards.
” Ensure NAID requirements and compliance.
 Ability to follow instructions from Operations and Assistant Operations managers on tasks to be accomplished.
 Ability to multi-task and to correctly prioritize responsibilities.
 Reliable attendance in accordance with regular work schedule, hours and company policy.
 All other duties as assigned.
