Vintage engine rods and pistons (8) - big block Ford - $100 (Silverdale)

Here is some information I received from someone the other day: For a 1960 mercury engine – C0ME (m and e – mercury) Lincoln and Mercury 430 applications Not an FE, largest FE motor had a 4.
23 inch bore This is 4.
3” bore – Mercury 430 1960 Mercury 430 (mel) motor F on side of bore = Ford, 0.
40 on top means oversized Inside of piston is 79 1088 __________________________________________ I believe these were purchased new for an engine project, but just got put in a box in the garage instead.
See pics; I'm not sure what engine these go to.
The bearing set was in the box (included), not sure they belong.
Thank you to the person who helped provide this information: The rods and pistons are FE BIG BLOCK Ford 390 to 428 motor they were to heavy for any real high Performance over 500hp low rpm.
