Two Alpine Type-S 10 inch subwoofers in a Bassworx ported 2x10 box stuffed with Polyfill.
The subs are DVC 4 ohm, currently wired to a total 4 ohm load for both.
They work great and have been running with no problems on my JL Audio 600/1.
Box dimensions are shown in pictures.
I don't know what frequency the port is tuned to or what the airspace of the box is.
The speaker box isn't in perfect cosmetic shape, but it doesn't look TOO bad.
The speakers are still hooked up so you can definitely listen to them.
Unfortunately, I had to downsize cars and went from a Ford Expedition to a Volkswagen Golf.
Needless to say, cargo space is JUST A BIT more limited now.
I'm looking to TRADE the 2x10 setup for a single sub.
Ideally a 1x12, preferably also in a ported box.
I'll also consider a 1x10.
I can't fit anything taller than a 17" box, unfortunately.
No garbage/Walmart stuff/etc please.
I'm not desperate to unload these, so I'm not going to take a gargantuan loss and swap them for a Pyle or Boss sub.
Only solid, reputable brands please.
JL, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, Memphis, etc.
